Graven Images was published at Greyweathers Press in June, 2010. There are 100 copies. The type is Italian Oldstyle, hand set by Larry Thompson, the paper Canson Mi-Teintes. The book was designed by Larry Thompson & Holly Dean & printed on a Vandercook 219 proofing press.
The engravings were printed from the wood on Fabriano Accademia paper, with the exception of 'The Reader' and the monogram on the title page, which were rendered from early proofs as a magnesium plates. Halftones in the text were printed from magnesium plates. The monogram on the title page is attributed to F. Archibald.
We remain truly grateful and indebted to Jane Graham for entrusting her collection of wood engraving blocks to us for over two years while we summoned the courage to put them through the press.
